There are two stories from Japan spreading in the online Vietnamese community now, and they made me cry. Because it's the weekends, so I had time and tried to translated it, not exactly, because the difference of two languages, but only what happened have it words. So I wanna share it with you. If it moves your heart, feel free to take it and share it out, I'm glad if you do it

The story about a stranger:

“I’m crying! I have just called for my close friend who lives in Japan. She live in Sendai, as you know, it took the strongest damages in the disaster. She and her family are fine, but she was crying when talking to me, And, after the conversation, I’m crying too.

She said she was in a street with her mother and the 2 years old little brother in the earthquake. Then, the tsunami came. The water go so fast, so they run to a house and climb up, but realized that they should choose someone else higher. It’s too late, and all they could do it’s keeping crying for help.

There was a man on the balcony of the building right in the back hear them, he jumped down to the water and help them climb up to the balcony. The water flowed more and more strongly, that it’s hard just to stand, but her mother didn’t climb until her and her little brother already went up. After that, the man helped her climbing. Then, at the balcony, she pulled his hand to help him go up. Suddenly, a car was gone with the float it run straight to him, people surround saw it and cried like crazy. It’s unbelievable, but the man pulled his hand out of her to save her from being down to the water, the car was gone through, hit against and took him away,

My friend and her family are saved, thanks to the stranger, who gave his life away for them. He could still live on in the building, but he did jump down for three strangers. I’m so move listening to the story. I have to confess that I did think this kind of story could happen only in the movie.

I don’t know his name, I may never know who he is. But I will keep him in mind when praying from now on.

He is the real hero!”

The story about a Japanese boy:

My name Hà Minh Thành, I’m volunteering to help the policemen at Fukushima, I work in the place far from the Nuclear Plant of Fukushima about 25km. The citizens made self managed groups to support each others, the security is good.

There are too much corpses, we take their finger prints, photo, then wrap them and send them to be burned. At the first day, we spent time to meditate on the death of the victims, and we cried. But now, there is no time for meditating and crying.

It happened once night, I take the volunteering job at a primary school, helping one self managed group which went to share out the food for the victims. In the long zigzag row of waiting people, I saw a little boy, about 9 years old. It is cold, but he wear only a pull and a short pants, more than that, he stand at the last of the row, so I was afraid that there would be nothing left for him. I came to him and asked, he said he was at school when the earthquake and the tsunami came, his father worked near the school so he came to it, and from the balcony of 3rd floor, he saw the car with his father inside was gone with the flow, so he died for sure. I asked about his mother, so he said his house was near the seaside, so it’s hard to believe that his mother and the little sibling survived. Then he turned out quickly and wiped the tears shed down. Looking he was so cold and tremble, I took off my policeman uniform and when I was wrapping it to his body, the dry provisions bag it’s for my dinner dropped down by accident. I picked it up, then give him and said he should take it, because it may nothing remain for him if he kept waiting his time in the row like this.

He accepted my dry provisions bag, bow his back to said thank me. I thought he would eat it right away, but no, he went to the top of the row, put the bag into the food cask then turned back to his position and kept waiting his time. I so surprised, and asked why did he do it? He said: “It’s because I think, there are many people who are hungry more than me around. I put it to the cask to share it out for all. I think it’s more equal if I do it.”

I turned my face quickly to hidden my tear, I’m so move. I’m a mature man, I have the Master Diploma, and he is a little boy, a Elementary School Student, but he taught me a big lesion about living, kindness and sacrifice. And I have a strong feeling that the Nation could born the child like him is a great nation, so it will stand up from the damages and move forward with a strong power.

I remembered about the teaching of my Master of Zen at Tokyo, before he pasted away: “Life is just a dream. Any kind of mind you see, only the mind with no desire for its self is Budda” Thanks to the little boy, I understand an important thing. I give him my dinner because I want to get back at least a thank word, but he give away his dinner for the others, with no calculation, Although he was terrible hungry, not only more than me, but I knew he would be hungry much more time in his life, when he don’t have his family to protect him anymore.”

Some info

There are no support center like Red Cross in my country, so we have been donating through the Labor Union in each company or firm, and the students made it through their official parties. Some reputation Newspaper Houses took the place of the support centers, and people who wanna donate can count in them, and the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam help us too, so everything work fluently now.

I prefer to spend my free time translate those stories than open some slots of commission like some other artists, because I think it's not the time for calculating now. If you can help, please help. It's not because everyone did it, not because I asked you, not because you could get some free commissions but it's because there are people who need help over there, and I know you have a heart in your chest.

Anyway, here is some from my opinions:

HeyTayHolt have a journal with sharp opinions about the disaster. It's In the midst of the tragedy You should check them.

And, here the www.paypal-donations.com/pp-ch… for donating by Paypal. For people who wanna donate but can't go to the local support center, and can't use the online service from the official link of the support centers. Anyway, Paypal don't give the donating feature for anyone in person, so if you get another link: Check if they are real or just a normal request money page (it's also in the name of Paypal). (Thanks goddess, this info save my heart)

And, in case you don't know:

The american.redcross.org/site/Don… to American Red Cross

And www.google.com/crisisresponse/… to Google Crisis Response.

There are a ton of projects for support Japan around DA now. And I myself don't have the mystery power to point out what is real, and what is not. So I prefer to the artists who accepted drawing for people who donate and give them the prove of the donating than the ones who taking commission money and then donate themselves. And if you are one of the artist who draw for the ones who donate for Japan, be sure the donors give the donation under your name, because it would specify the bill of the donation, so they can't use it for request more from the others. It sounds such a pain, but it works, I think so.
